YOUR GHOST began from experiments running a flatbed scanner with nothing to scan – the resulting landscape, slashes and blobs seen here were barely visible marks on the glass and lid. After iterations of digital manipulation and working with yarn, the design landed here. The name comes from the song of the same name from Kristin Hersh with Michael Stipe – “If I walk down this hallway tonight, it’s too quiet, so I pad through the dark, and call you on the phone.”
