Though the name was slightly different in each language, the TOWER OF BABEL is a creation STORY that evolved over the course of many cultures and centuries. the faithful built a MONUMENTAL tower OR A STEPPED ziggurat to the sky, A GOLDEN LADDER to get closer to god. The ALL-POWERFUL did not APPRECIATE THE ATTEMPT TO JOIN WITH HUMANS, SO WE WERE SCATTERED OVER THE EARTH AND OUR LANGUAGES WERE MADE TO BE UNRECOGNIZABLE TO EACH OTHER, ALL in an effort to keep us apart.
