COPPER OIL
-
COPPER OIL is an homage to the painters whose extravagant use of materials create a densely textured and colored landscape of drips, streaks and pools of oil paint, heavily applied on thin canvas, built up in thick layers over time and dried into a field of details. This rug is so rich that one can’t help but staring, taking in the details – but walking barefoot on the combination of the worn-away oxidized texture and dual heights of silk is what completes the piece.
